Frequently Asked Questions

Word Strings is a one-man-band. I always try to get orders out within three business days, unless stated in an out of office message typically posted on my instagram. If it has been three days, You will receive an email when I ship your order with shipping information. Sometimes this email will end up in your spam folder!

If you aren't finding it, reach out to with your order number + I would be happy to get that tracking info for you!

Due to the nature of my small business, we are a strict return company. 

  • To be eligible for a return, goods must be unopened, unused, undamaged and accompanied by proof of purchase within 7 days of delivery. 
  • For returns, please email with the subject 'Returns for Order #XXXXXX' and include your order number, name and the reason for the return!
  • Seller will provide the customer with instructions where to send returned goods. 
  • Please note that customers are responsible for shipping costs of returned items.
  • When returned item is received and inspected, customer receives a confirmation email, notifying about the status of the refund or exchange. 
  • If the refund is approved, then it will be processed in a timely manner back onto the customer's original form of payment. 

Orders can be cancelled within the first 24 hours after you place your order, as long as I have not shipped them out yet. Please reach out to me via email!

If you realize you need an address change or that you made a mistake, please reach out to me in the first 24 hours of ordering. As long as I have no fulfilled your order we can change your address!

I am not responsible for lost packages or failure to deliver because of customer error on provided shipping addresses.

Yes! Word Strings does ship internationally! Help us cross more countries off our map!

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout via USPS after shipping address is inputed! I have no control over the costs of these prices, unfortunately. Thank you so much of your support!


We count on USPS to deliver your package once it leaves my studio. Therefore, once your package leaves my hands, it is out of my control. If the postal service loses your package, please file a claim at this link. 

Word Strings is not responsible for replacing or refunding lost, stolen, or missing packages. Word Strings is also not responsible for replacing packages that were sent to incorrect addresses due to customer input error.

Bummer! This usually happens due to an error with your address. You will be refunded your order amount, minus shipping fees & a $5 charge for processing and supplies. If you would like to repurchase your item, I will send you an invoice for your item at the same price, but you will be required to pay shipping again. Please reach out to me via email at

All Word Strings apparel sizing is unisex and true to size! I recommend folks size up if you are looking for an oversized fit! As always, email with questions: subject line "Sizing Help!"

Word Strings Apparel is ready to wear + can be washed regularly! I always recommend washing with like colors on cold + air drying to be safe! 

My favorite way to fluff up a sweatshirt is to throw it in the dryer for 5 minutes at the end of a cycle to get the wrinkles out!
